Marco Robberts shot this 23 inch impala ram on Lalapanzi game lodge near Marble Hall. He used a Mathews FX2 set at 70 pounds, a 100 grain Nitron broadhead and a Goldtip 5575 arrow. The shot was taken from a distance of 25 yards and the ram expired within 15 yards.

Dennis van der Walt bagged his first pig on a farm in the Gravelot area. The kill was made with an 80 pound Hoyt Vectrix with a 100 grain “Piston Point” mechanical broadhead. The pig expired within ten yards.

Rudi Pretorius with two of the 40 impala ewes his group harvested at Lapalosa Game Ranch in Botswana. Rudi hunted with a Bowtech Allegiance and the shots were taken between 18 and 30 yards.

Willie Britz shot this warthog on a farm named Lyons in the Baltimore area. It was shot over 27 yards at a waterhole. Willie used an Elite Synergy set at 90 pounds. With him is his hunting buddy and wife, Jenny.

Sean Bell shot this 13 inch warthog at Karoi Game Farm using a Bowtech Allegiance set at 70 pounds and a 75/95 Goldtip arrow tipped with a 125 grain Spitfire mechanical.

Alec Fourie and his dog Beau on Beau’s first hunting trip. The impala ewe was hunted at Karoi Lodge with a Mathews Drenalin set at 70 pounds. The arrow was tipped with a Grim Reaper mechanical broadhead.

This 28.5 inch wildebeest was shot by Rian Steyn on the farm Thembi in the Rooiberg area, using a Mathews Drenalin DXT set at 70 pounds and a Easton Axis 340 Realtree arrow tipped with a 125 grain Grim Reaper. The wildebeest expired within 50 metres after receiving a perfect heart shot.

Timothy Murray killed this 23 inch impala with a Mathews Drenalin set at 70 pounds, using a 100 grain three-blade muzzy. The ram was shot from a pop-up blind and expired within 35 metres.

Janus Smit with a bushpig shot at 30 yards using his 70 pound Allegiance and full metal jacket arrow equipped with a 125 grain Montec broadhead. The bushpig expired after 20 yards. Janus hunted on the farm Kliprivier near Middelburg.

Attie Erasmus with the 57 inch kudu he hunted on Johnny Gillespie’s farm, Geelhaak, near Thabazimbi. He used a 77 pound Hoyt Vectrix, a Beamin Blackmax arrow and a 85 grain Thunderhead.

Jerome Tarr of New Zealand shot this red stag from a distance of 55 metres. The bow is a Mathews Drenalin set at 62 pounds.

This trophy bushbuck was shot by Jan Basson at Mbebala Game Rarm near Port Elizabeth. Jan used a Browning Rage set at 60 pounds, tipped with a Razorback broadhead. This was his first bow kill.

Conrad Strydom bagged this warthog on the farm Shumba near Thabazimbi. The tusks measured five inches and he used a Matthews Outback set at 70 pounds. The arrow was an Expedition Hunter Goldtip with a 125 grain Striker broadhead.

Dylan de Brouwer’s first bowhunt took place in Dendron. He used a Bowtech 82nd Airborne set at 65 pounds.

Aalwyn Venter of Jeffreys Bay walked-and-stalked this fallow deer during the rutt in March at Van Wyk’s Kraal near Cookehouse. Aalwyn shot the animal with a PSE Brute set at 70 pounds and an Easton 340 arrow tipped with a Tekan 100 grain broadhead.
